Our Mission

The Mission of Millard's Crossing Historic Village is to preserve and maintain the historic 19th century buildings which have been moved from various sites in Nacogdoches County and to exhibit and interpret the buildings and artifacts in such a way as to reflect and teach the history of East Texas settlement. Further, the Village seeks to provide connections between the present generation and those of the past in order to generate pride in the strength, resourcefulness, and ingenuity of preceding generations. Additionally, this historic complex is operated and maintained as a resource for hosting public and private events in a setting that is uniquely historic, reflecting the community spirt of celebration, both then and now.
